أمريكي يصبح من أتباع المذهب الزيدي بعد بحث 30 سنة

شارك أحد القراء اسمه ، Bigwali، قصته معي:
أختي العزيزة،
كان لي دائما رغبة قوية عميقة في معرفة الحقيقة وما هو الدين الحق، والطريق الصحيح لاستخدامها في ذلك الدين.
لقد نشأت كمسيحي وفكرت في أن تصبح قس، ولكن كانت هناك أسئلة لم اجد الإجابة لها في المسيحية بالنسبة لي.

تحولت إلى الإسلام من خلال منظمة "أمة الإسلام" الأمريكية . وخلال هذا الوقت التقيت طلبة مالكوم X وتعلمت منهم، وأصبحت قائداً في تلك المجموعة لحوالي ثلاث سنوات. قررت في نهاية المطاف أنا أن "أمة الإسلام" كانت مثل مجموعة عبادة بطابع قومي.

بعدها، أصبحت طالبا ومن أتباع حمزة يوسف الذي يتحدث الانجليزية (الذي علمني المذهب المالكي من العلماء في موريتانيا) و حكيم كويك. تابعت في المذهب المالكي لخمسة عشر عاما. كنت عميقا جدا في المذهب المالكي حتى بدأت قراءة "نهج البلاغة " للإمام علي وجعلني أرى ضوء جديد تماما.

إدركت أهمية "أهل البيت"، والتي لا "أمة الإسلام" ولا "المالكية" تحدثت عنهم، أصبحت امامي اثناعشري (جعفري) واكتسبت الكثير من التبصر العميق من تلك المدرسة. بقيت على الاثناعشرية لمدة 12 عاما. ومع ذلك، كان هناك الكثير من الأشياء التي لا يمكن أن أتفق مع المدرسة في الاثناعشرية فيها. لقد كان من الصعب الاعتقاد بأن الائمة معصومين وأيضا أعلى رتبه من الأنبياء (عليهم السلام) جميعا، وأسأل الله أن يغفر لي (للاعتقاد بذلك). كما أرفض مفهومها أن المهدي يعيش مختبئا وينتظر حتى الوقت المناسب لإظهار نفسه، وأن الامامة تقتصر الأئمة إلى اثني عشر.
وقدمت لي الزيدية إجابات لجميع مخاوفي، الحمدلله.

سأبدأ قريبا تعلم اللغة العربية، وأنا سعيد جدا، وأود أن أبدأ منظمة هنا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لأنني أعتقد حقا أن المدرسة الزيدية هو الطريق الصحيح والمسار الصحيح، وأود أن أفعل كل شيء يمكنني أن أدعو وأبين للناس الطريق للنبي (ص) وأهل بيته.

American Revert Switches to Zaidism after 30 Year Search

One of our readers, Bigwali, recently shared his story with me:
Dear Sister,
I always had a strong deep desire to know the truth and what is the right religion, and the right path to use in that religion.
I was raised as a Christian and thought about becoming a minister, but there were questions that Christianity could not answer for me.

I converted to Islam through the American organization “Nation of Islam”. During this time I met students of Malcom X and learnt from them, becoming a Minister in that group for about three years. Eventually I decided that “Nation of Islam” was too much like a Nationalist cult group.

Next, I became a student and follower of the English speaking convert scholars Hamza Yusuf (who learnt the Maliki math-hab from scholars in Mauritania) and Hakim Quick. I followed the Maliki math-hab for fifteen years. I was very deeply into the Maliki school until I started reading the “Nahjul Balagha” of Imam Ali and it made me see a whole new light.

Realizing the importance of the “ahlul bait”, which neither Nation of Islam or the Malikis had acknowledged, I became a 12 Imamer (Ja’fari) and I gained a lot of deep insight from that school. I remained a 12 imamer for 12 years. However, there were a lot of things I could not agree with in the 12 Imamer school. I had difficulty believing that the lmams were infallible and also higher than the prophets(PBUH) them all , may Allah forgive me (for believing that) and guide me. Also I rejected their concept that the Mahdi is living and in hiding until the right time to show himself, and that Imams are limited to twelve.
Zaydism gave me the answers to all of my concerns, al hamdulillah.

I will soon start learning Arabic, and I am very happy and I would like to start an organization here in the USA because I truly believe and feel that the Zaydi school is the right path and the correct path, and I would like to do everything I can to invite and show people the way of the prophet (PBUH) and his household.
